Say, following two hours, the bones have brought down your chip stack down to $20. You have not noticed an on fire roll in a coon’s age. even though not winning is as much a part of the game as winning, you cannot help but feel lousy. You think about why you ever came to Las Vegas in the 1st place. You attempted to be a mountain for 2 hours, but it did not succeed. You want to profit so much that you relinquish control of your common sense. You are at your last $20 for the night and you have little backbone left. Leave with your twenty dollars!
You can never ever give up, never ever bow out, never think, "This sucks, I am going to lay the rest on the Hard 4 and, if I don’t win, then I’ll head out. But if I win, I’ll be even for the day." This is the most brainless thing you could try at the closing of a losing session.
If you have to give your cash away, for heaven’s sake gift it to your favorite charity. Don’t award it to the gambling den. A few times, you will win a single one of those insane bets, but don’t think you will win sufficiently over time to even out your losses.
