Say, after two hours, the pair of dice have eaten away at your chip stack leaving only $20. You haven’t seen an on fire roll in a long time. Although losing is just as much a part of the casino game as profiting, you cannot help but feel like crap. You wonder why you ever bothered coming to Las Vegas in the first place. You were a rock for 2 hours, but it didn’t work. You want to profit so badly that you relinquish control of your clear thinking. You’re down to your last twenty dollars for the session and you have no backbone remaining. Leave with your twenty dollars!
You can never ever capitulate, do not accede, don’t ever think, "This is awful, I am going to put the rest on the Hard 4 and, if I do not win, then I’ll depart. However if I succeed, I’ll be right back where I started." That’s the dumbest action you could do at the end of a losing session.
If you have to give your money to someone, please give it to your favorite charity. Do not hand it to the gambling den. Every so often, you shall succeed on one of those moronic bets, but don’t dream you’ll earn adequately over time to cover your losses.
